Here at Vantage Toyota Birmingham we jump at the chance to be part of a nice surprise for someone. We were particularly excited to see the reaction to the Poole familys new acquisition, the Toyota GT86.
The sneaky Poole parents had managed to keep this a secret from their children right up until the unveiling of their new vehicle. We’re happy to say that the children are huge fans!
The Toyota GT86 is a compact sports car with attitude. The low centre of gravity and 2.0 litre engine make it an incredibly fun car to drive. The first GT86 arrived in 2011 to fill the void left by the departure of the MR2, Celica and Supra. Toyota and sports car enthusiasts were raring to get behind the wheel and it’s been a firm favourite ever since.
Toyota’s president Akio Toyoda once said, ‘if it’s not fun to drive, it’s not a car.’ The Toyota GT86 is certainly fun, inspired by Toyota’s sporting icons of the past it brings pure driving pleasure whilst retaining its classic sportscar identifiers.
The Poole’s opted for the fabulous Orange Edition GT86 which is the first in the Toyota Club Series of limited edition GT86’s. We can’t wait to see them out and about around Birmingham in their new pride and joy. We certainly won’t miss them with the stunning Solar Orange paintwork. I think we can safely say that they have earned some cool points from their children and we’re sure they’re all enjoying the luxurious black leather and suede interior. This certainly isn’t a car you’d expect to see on the school run.
